Rockwall is the city of Rockwall County, Texas (USA). Dallas is a suburb of the city and that part of the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. Population of 17,976 at 2000 census. It is the county seat Rockwall County.
It is 6,605 households, of which 39.4% were under the age of 18 living with them, 66.8% were married couples living together, 8.7% were women householder with no husband present, and 21.9% were non-families. 18.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.06.
