Carrollton is a town of Texas, part of Dallas County, Denton County part, and in part by the Collin County. From the 2000 census, the city's total population was the 109576th Carrollton is a suburb of Dallas.

Most of Carrollton is a part of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District. Dallas Independent School District serves a small part of the country south of Carrollton, together with the Lewisville Independent School District, the north.
The DISD has served part of the Anne Frank Elementary School, and part of N. Adams Elementary School. N. Adams receives a part of DISD's Junkins Elementary School (located in Carrollton, after the name of Jerry Junkins) Junkins opened the fall of 2006. All part of the DISD has served Marsh Middle School and WT White High School. From 2006-2007 as part of DISD Carrollton to be served instead of Walker Middle School.
